1st Year History students have been very busy in recent weeks. After learning about the Middle Ages in class it was their turn to do some research. They have been working on newspaper articles about the Black Death. Students have demonstrated excellent research skills, by finding primary source information on the Black Death. They have included some great images from the time and maps to show the spread of the disease. Students were also encouraged to include a catchy headline with their article. It seems we may have some budding journalists in our midst!!! They produced a wide variety of clever and funny headlines. See below a small example of the great work produced by the 1st Years.
