1st Year Update from their experience in RE class!
Learning about St. Brigid and making dolls in religion class:
The week before St. Brigid's Day, we were learning about her in relgion class. Our teacher planned a fun artsy class for us the next day.
She brought in feathers, leaves, popsicle sticks, toothpicks, googly eyes, pipe cleaners and coloured paper for us to make our St. Brigid Dolls.
We stuck the popsicle sticks together and decorated them with everything she brought in.
The dolls were colourful and really pretty and the class was super fun! It was really nice seeing all the different dresses and hair people had made for their dolls!

In religion class we did something different to celebrate saint Brigid's Day, We made these things called Saint Brigid dolls.
We had the whole class to make them and we were supplied with the resources to make them.
We were given Popsicle sticks, pompoms, leafs, toothpicks, googly eyes and string. It was a good way to be creative and have fun while celebrating a saint. we were able be creative with our designs and compare with each other to see how we could improve.
I thought it was a very good to do for our saint Brigid's day and it was very refreshing to do for something different for a lesson and i hope we do more in the future and thank you to Miss Norton for a really fun lesson.
