Fermenting Food Workshop

Devin from Feast Ar mBia came to visit the TYs and 3rd year Home Ec students to talk to them about the importance of sustainable food and cooking! He spoke to them about sustainable cooking practices, shopping locally, sustainable food and food miles.

Students got the great opportunity to taste oysters, homemade granola, kombucha and Devin also showed them how to make banana skin chutney. Everyone had a great time experiencing new foods and learning lots about how they can be more sustainable when choosing foods!
