5th Year Leaving Cert Applied students had a busy week before Mid-Term. As part of their General Education Task they organised Halloween Week. Throughout the week they organised a number of fun activities for students. On Tuesday they organised a Craft Afternoon for Hazel and Cherry. Students got to make their own Halloween Mask, make potions, play the flour and grape game and try their hand at some bowling.
On Thursday, they helped 1st years bake Halloween Cupcakes. 1st were shown how to ice their cupcakes by Oliver and given lots of options for decorating them.
Throughout the week lots of students were participating in the Design a Pumpkin Competition. Students got to learn about the history of Halloween from the Display Board they put together in the Front Hall.
On Friday they organised a Fancy Dress Day and raised €205 for the DSPCA
