History Class

History students have been busy in Holy Child this week. The First Years have been learning about the work of the Archaeologist. They found out the importance of excavating artefacts very carefully so as not to break them. They had to excavate the chocolate chips from cookies! Some students were more careful than others!!! 3rd years put their team work skills into action to create posters on World War II. Students had to work together to divide the topics and plan out the poster. The finished posters look fantastic and are hanging proudly in Ms Kenny's classroom. Students worked very hard and demonstrated some key skills of Junior Cycle such as Managing Myself, Being Creative, Communicating, Working with Others, Managing Information and thinking. Well done to all students on their great work this week.
