This year our transition year students competed against each other in another amazing Sci Fest. Sci Fest is a wonderful opportunity for students to create their own experiments and scientific projects based on questions they would like to know the answer to. They then get to run their experiments, collect their data and present their findings to a visiting judge from the Sci Fest organisation. There was strong competition this year from the students looking at a wide range of projects from using sutainable energy sources to power schools to the threat of microplastics in the environment. The students had the opportunity to further develop key skills including research, problem solving and public presentations. They also learnt a lot of science and had a lot of fun in the process. Well done to them all on their hard work
