The Holy Child Senior boys put on a great display of teamwork and football in their shield game against St. Kevin's CC in a bitterly cold South Dublin District League Astro today, 7th January. The lads were unlucky to go down by one goal early in the first half, but with great team work they battled back to make it 4 - 1 at half time. With some second half changes and some restructuring of the formation the team conceded two quick over the top goals. The lads once again dug in and scored a further 4 goals to finish the game 8 - 3. With this result the team are now through to the next round of the Leinster Schools Shield.
