Transition Year students recently took part in an inspiring Health and Wellbeing through Nutrition and Fitness Workshop led by Jack Walsh. The session encouraged students to look at health in a holistic way, exploring how good nutrition, regular exercise, and positive lifestyle habits contribute to both physical and mental wellbeing.
During the workshop, Jack shared practical advice on healthy eating, balanced nutrition, and the importance of staying active. Students learned how small daily choices — from diet to movement — can make a big difference to their energy levels, focus, and overall health.
The interactive session also included fitness activities and group challenges, giving TYs a chance to put what they learned into action. It was a fun and engaging way to promote teamwork, motivation, and a proactive approach to wellness.
The day left students feeling informed and inspired to take charge of their own health. A big thank you to Jack Walsh for delivering such an enjoyable and educational workshop, and to the TYs for their enthusiasm and participation throughout the session
