What we say and do matters and this founding ethos we nurture, cherish and cultivate in our local community and towards all people. As a community school, we foster and value a commitment to helping each other by living for The Highest Good of All, nurturing unconditional love for one another, and supporting the constant growth and improvement of ourselves, each other, and our global environment.

“Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.”

Here in Holy Child, Sallynoggin , the Leadership Team, the Student Council, the Poppy Centre, Environment, Chaplaincy and the Social Action Teams further understanding around Diversity, injustice, homelessness, racism, poverty, mental health and climate change.Image 1.jpg

As well as our outreach projects in the Local community; Sallynoggin Senior Citizens, we run workshops, National and International days that raise awareness on humanitarian issues we have annual fundraisers for SVP, Down Syndrome, Ireland, Darkness in to Light, Daffodil Day, The Dogs Trust, Blackrock Hospice, Headstrong Ireland, Cycle against Suicide and a variety of other charitable organizations chosen by our Social Action Teams.

“Are we not all bound to help each other, as well as to look to ourselves. Render the burden of others lighter by taking the heavier part of it ourselves". Cornelia Connelly

The SVP is a particular charity that HCCS has supported for many years. On the run up to Christmas, our Student Council, Social Action Teams, the Poppy Centre and our wonderful SNA’s create and organize, Non-uniform days, Cake sales, raffles, quiz’s, movie days, sponsored walks and cycles to raise much needed funds for the local community.
